On Medium, or Substack, you can have some idea of how each story is doing, and with micro-books, you can see it when a book sold, and which one it was, but the true effect is cumulative and is not impressive until you have several in your portfolio.
That could be months later. Or more. But you must stay motivated while you are building that portfolio.
You are the best judge of the level of commitment you can gather. But if you are a patient, deferred gratification sort of writer, the value of your micro book writing can far exceed the other platforms.
