I try almost everything new and different that makes any sense to attract readers, and get folks to subscribe to my writing, but I don’t usually last more than a few weeks to a couple of months until I can pretty much start the busses and load up the team.
Losses are never pretty, but they beat bloodbaths, so you need to know when to move on to the next try.
And I’m convinced that almost no one here knows exactly what they are doing, only how a particular viewpoint is working for them right then. The minute anyone else tries it, or anyone tries it under different times or circumstances, it has already quit working as well.
The people who had the answers six, months ago, are now writing things such as “it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. You have to keep it up for two years to make any money on medium.”
So as I mentioned before, I am trying to make it my hobby to try different approaches, expecting nothing in return, having decided the real value and measurement of my worth is how long I can keep at this.
Every morning I wake up and ask my mirror-self, “do you feel lucky, punk?”
Success here in my book is a bit more like Love Story, “Medium means never having to say you’re sorry.”
Then one over-night, I’ll become rich and famous, and I can tell you exactly how I did it.
Thanks for reading!
