One good reason is all it takes.

Who am I to say?
I have freelanced most of my life. I have taught others how to freelance. I am a licensed freelancer and have a licensed company.
I most recently have spent overlapping time freelancing in two different areas. I am the freelancer’s freelancer.
For MANY years, I was a freelance (independent contractor) Realtor, Broker, then firm owner. Then I started working with for-sale-by-owners and the MLS so they could sell their house freelance, without hiring an agent.
Then I wrote a book about selling your own house (freelance.) Then another and another. Now I do both real estate and writing all freelance.
And I love teaching people how to “mind their own business.”
What you need to look at
How are these jobs usually done?
By a company.
By individuals.
Why do you want to freelance it?
You love to do it.
You have a gift to do it.
Frequency of job.
How frequently does this job need to be done?
1. One time.
2. Several times.
Can you make money at it?
It would probably work best as a hobby.
You could earn a little cash, maybe cover expenses.
You could make a living at it.
Make a living?
If it’s going to make you a living, ask yourself why…
Do you like doing it?
Can you like yourself doing it?
Do your values tell you to do this?
At the end of the day, there are only three reasons to do something freelance.
The job needs to be done once and you can save a fortune, like building a deck or selling your own house.
The job is a blast and you like to do it.
You discover the job is right in your wheelhouse and part of your talent and blessing and you will do it until you can make some money doing it. Enough to cover your expenses, then enough to make a living at it.
Thank you.
