I did not know this when I started writing here.
After I had written a few articles, I realized that a portfolio or inventory was wonderful. I could use a link-back in subsequent stories from time to time that gave me the opportunity to squeeze a tiny bit more of my readerโs time and attention.
Then, one day, I was doing what I do from time to time.
I read some of my older stories.
I saw stuff I wish I had done differently. Some stuff could have been done better. Some had just changed since first written.
Sometimes I would finish an article with a promise to revisit it with more information.
A simple edit would work occasionally, but many times a whole new article was called for. I found many of my stories were self-sustainable.
Conclusion
Now I am the greatest consumer of my own work, not only for accuracy but also for inspiration.
