Comedy quits being so funny. Until…
Last night I was watching some funny television videos while I was doing other things.
The funny videos quit being funny fairly rapidly. I can only watch people ride a lawnmower through a fence, cartwheel into a ceiling fan, and slide down an icy front step so many times until a little of the edge comes off the humor of it.
Last night, however, I was about to change channels when something happened that made my evening.
A man owned a small parrot, like this little guy in the picture, and he had taught it to say to people “Well, kiss my green butt!”
Now that's comedy. I cracked up because I guess that was the last thing I expected. Man teaches bird to be a curmudgeon.
