Wednesday's Journal
If this is Wednesday.
St. Peggy is gone this morning for a while, playing with her sisters.
I am trying very hard to be careful and not conduct an unplanned floor inspection while she is gone.
We have been married 47 years now, thus today’s song, and I am sure after my last year’s medical event, I bring new meaning to the word “worse” in “for better or worse” for her, but she never grumbles. Whenever I do happen to fall, she is very fast on the dialing of 911.
They are great and patient peeps, as well. They have had to come and collect me a time or two.
It is nice and quiet here right now. even Todd Rundgren has not started his all-day drum practice next door yet. Blissfully silent is good, because I am slipping behind on some of my writing goals, and this may give me a chance to work.
I have agreed with other writers when they say we should have a good place and time to work, but I have found that lying in the floor, listening to Phil Collins next door is less than ideal.
And even though its hump day humor day, that’s not that funny.
Besides, I have three essays and two books started, and they won’t finish themselves.
Thank you so much for reading!
