I Missed National Techies Day AGAIN!
Didn’t even have up the tree, much less have all my shopping done.
But you know what? I think I can speak for many of us non-techies who are filled with joy when we successfully open our email inbox or remember where we wrote down our super-secret usernames and passwords.
Maybe we are writing an opinion piece online every so often, never worrying about building a community or whether to email our newsletter daily or yearly.
The last coding some of us did was Morse code during the war, or when we were getting our first-phone, or ham radio license.
I, for one, like to deal with one person at a time, so i don’t really need more apps to communicate. There is still just one of me.
I’d be happy to just make a buck to boost my social security, rather than trying to make a template for my stock portfolio management.
I believe I have hit the point of diminishing returns where I have much more to learn than to teach. Sad.
Unless you want a how-to article on being an old curmudgeon, ‘cause I’m killing that.
