Good morning!
I am a little tired this morning. I had the pleasure of attending one of my granddaughter’s kindergarten graduation last night. Wow!
It was a wonderful production with almost sixty little peeps graduating.
It started with one of the kids pointing out that he was still the same kid who started, but just looked a bit different and stood a little taller, the usual recitation,,,
The songs in their mix were a wonderful mix and involved each of them, culminating in the song by Billy Dean that I shared below, and the walk for diplomas.
I have a huge, soft spot in my heart for the young ones, and sometimes the growing and letting go has been known to bring a tear to my eye, but I had never heard the last song until last night.
Peggy and I were both trying not to sob out loud.
Right now it’s 7:30 in the morning, and again today, there is a lot to be done, so I am going to knock out some of today’s journal now and come back to it as soon as I can…
