Top Three Cowboy Movies of All Time

I am guessing now that many of you know that my idea of a cowboy movie has always been the spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood, (and usually Lee Van Cleef.)
I watched them every time I wanted to see a cowboy movie, I chose one of them.
They lasted me most of my adult life.
They were enough to give my daughters eye-problems every time I even mentioned the name of any one of them for viewing night.
I must announce now that, even though they set a high bar for cowboy movies, the current crop of them has excelled in all aspects.
TOMBSTONE — Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday rates as my number one for all of the measures as well as the most quoted lines of dialogue category and the great shootout category.
OPEN RANGE — Keven Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Bening, also adds to the great shootout category.
FORSAKEN — Donald Sutherland and son, Kiefer Sutherland. It’s a relatively new Father’s Day cowboy flick that includes some family dynamics. I was still basking in the enjoyment and memories of the premier when Donald Sutherland Sutherland passed away.
I watched it again as soon as I could find it streamed somewhere. Wow.
These are, to me the three very best of the current crop (there are eight total in my estimation.) I would be interested in knowing what you think about them and how you rate the whole ridin’ and ropin’ bunch.
You know it takes a special type of person to enjoy, much less be a connoisseur of westerns.
