THURSDAY'S CHOWDER, NOW SIMMERING
Where I regurgitate a thick soup of life and wisdom from the last 24 hours.

Well, this is Thursday. There was no Wednesday in this world. I had a six-month appointment with my primary physician, so I could answer invasive and personal questions as well as take and be exposed to a few tests.
My favorite modes of personal transportation include my walker, wheelchair, and a lighter-weight vehicle that resembles a desert cart I can ride on.
The appointment included my fasting before it. All of it taken together was a bit tiring, and by the time we got back home, I was worn out to the point I never got started on my writing assignments.
Therefore, there was no Chowder yesterday.
And that’s OK. That was yesterday.
It made me think of running out of time on plans- like our productivity or writing plans.
YOU KNOW THE DRILL.
I am trying to settle into a routine of putting on a steaming pot of chowder in the morning and working on it during the day with lost readers having the ability to drop by, have a taste, and tell me “needs more thought.”
I learned yesterday at my doctor’s appointment that my deadlines are real, and they may not be as far away as we think.
I am a lazy guy, and I sometimes tend to procrastinate starting a project like a new book. I have written quite a few, but I still hesitate starting each new one.
Actually, I have a couple I have already written in my head, and I can look at the outline, with the content already sketched in, but I still put off working on them
I try to write every day, so I need to concentrate more on choosing them to work on instead of other topics.
In other words, if I wanted to write a book a month for x number of years, the math tells me I am behind the eight ball already.
