I am labeled a category five.
And all the labels on all my medical files are a day-glo red that say “category 5.”
Let me back up a minute. I already knew that doctors have to take notes on their patients, and I knew doctors like to refer a patient over to a different doctor when the patient’s condition is a little out of their wheelhouse.
Referral info.
And I know that doctors pass along some, if not all, the patient info to the new doctor to which they have been shipped.
I even know what medical transcriptions are, because, at one point, I had to do the same thing to a sports car manufacturer to get the factory to pay me for any given auto repair done while under warranty.
Medical patient categories, however, were a bit new to me, but they were fairly quickly figured out.
