But little about writing is intuitive. These tips have become a list I use myself. Per step number six, I don’t mind sharing with others.

Don’t just set goals — track your goals. Journal their daily progress
Practice writing daily. Start with 30 minutes. Get up early if you must.
Surround yourself with people who represent what you want to become.
Read every day.
Teach someone else.
Dress for success. You can dress like you work on the ranch, or you can dress like you own the ranch.
