I write for different publications and blogs, and I enjoy doing that. But the least enjoyable part is having to get excited and hopefully interesting in different subjects at will.
If the article is about being blue, I have to turn on a blue light in my office while I write it. A piece must be subject-specific.
Even if I am writing for my own blog, the story must be related to the niche of the blog itself.
Medium is so great because my monkey-mind appreciates when the gate has been left open. Even if nobody reads or claps for the story, at least it is off my little monkey-mind’s chest.
But somebody probably will read it.
