If my headline doesn’t draw blood!

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote this story about wanting to get 1000 followers by the end of the year.
I had read about how writers could play “name it and claim it” with Medium readers, especially as it applied to followers.
But it didn’t quite work, and I still needed some love.
So, then I wrote the most magnificent story I have ever written. It was so wonderful that William Shakespeare himself tweeted me a compliment.
But the title was about something like “Eat More Kale Today.”
I saw the numbers. *crickets*
To my surprise (at that time,) nobody really cared enough about what I had to say to even read the story.
Lesson learned — great stories must first get read.
