New Writers, What Did You Do For Yourself Today?
Almost two weeks ago, I gave you some ideas… which have you done?
Almost two weeks ago, I gave you some ideas… which have you done?

A couple of weeks ago, I advised new and would-be writers to do something good for themselves every day until they could get into the habit of working on their writing daily.
It seemed pretty basic, and I explained each one in the story here.
Those suggestions were…
Power book
Calendar
Blog
Medium
Social media
I recommended starting each of these and getting them to the point where you were happy with them. They will be part of your infrastructure.
They are listed in their order of importance. Firstly, you are writing down your plot and story ideas in the book. Secondly, you are seeing your deadlines graphically. Thirdly, you are starting to write, however little or much, every day.
The fourth is for cultivating a public place of regular posting. and the last, being a way to tell somebody about it.
But since in fourteen days, you probably have not found a way to get started on any of these, I will give you one more bonus assignment. Otherwise, you can try to be a writer again next year.
Clear off the dining room table, and get that old tensor lamp down from the attic. Make a workstation at the table, and congratulate yourself on your progress, Hemmingway!
All this progress aside, I also need to announce that we are trying now to focus the publication D I Y Dollar on FSBO real estate.
Further, we are starting this publication primarily for my miscellaneous ramblings concerning writing, writing for medium, and making money with your writing.
So please find those publications and even do me the honor of subscribing to either or both.
Thank you, so much for reading!
