This Late-Breaking Faux-Family Update: Subscription Drive
My faux-brother, Scooter just wanted to let you know that we are starting an experiment, and we want you to be involved. Think of it as a big promotion if you wish. We are hoping to pick up a lot of views, subscriptions, and followers this weekend like the big writers do.
Now, even though Scooter does have a rather lengthy list of indiscretions in his past, since he has found his calling in public relations, he is VERY SERIOUS about wanting you to get involved in this project.
Some of his previous hi-jinx made him a public enemy by some standards. Now he is re-purposed and repackaged. This reminds me of the hunting-dog story. I will have you tell you that one. It’s the same deal…
It used to be the case that he might lean on you for your lunch money. Now he can lean on you for a larger cause than his stomach.
So here we go… LET’S GET 10,000 VIEWS and 3000 FOLLOWERS and 6500 SUBSCRIBERS THIS WEEKEND! Don’t be shy- let’s give it all she’s got, Cap’n! Break out a fine box of wine and start reading and enjoying. Show some love! Hit that support button right now! Help keep Scooter in Public Relations.
Remember, 10,000 VIEWS WILL MAKE THE NEWS!!!
Don’t make me tell you how Scooter got his nickname!
Thanks for your time!
I encourage you to subscribe to my budding newsletter called “The Storyteller” which will give you regular insight into the extra content and outtakes of this area. The subscription will also give you two more important things you might not have now. 1) A copy of “A Year of Martin,” about 216 pages of stupidity, and 2) the ability to unsubscribe, and drop me like third period French.
I thank you again for your time, and I stand in continued amazement and gratitude.
I see you’re already smiling, so why not go ahead and join Don’s extra-content “STORY-TELLER” newsletter, coming with extra smiles and the book “A Year of Martin!”
