Sooner or later we are all going to have to face it.
It’s Monday.
Again.
Of course, as I previously mentioned, my medical condition charcuterie board often makes the weekend hard on me. I practice a sedentary lifestyle. And I am rediscovering the parallels of that with my writing lifestyle.
Sometimes I feel sorry for myself a little too much, and I quit getting up and walking as much as I should.
I can use my electric recliner to help me get up. I can use my wheelchair to motivate in the house.
But what happens is purely a matter of inertia. The old “object at rest tending to stay at rest” syndrome.
Then, even to get back to ground zero is a challenge.
I always state to myself that I will walk more, but I have lied about that before. I have plenty of excuses, all of which ring hollow up[on being stated.
The parallel is that, while I’m feeling sorry for myself about having too much going on to walk, I obviously have too much going on to write as much as I should, and I watch my numbers tumble daily.
The big difference between the two forms of laziness is that when you press down and start writing more, it doesn’t usually make your calves sore.
My objective then is to start kickin’ it on both fronts. I will keep you posted.
Medium Writing vs. Blog Writing
It’s the old “Cowboys dance with the farmer’s daughters” question.

Territory folk
Yes, they should get along like Oklahomans, but there are distinct choices of sides going on here, too.
Just this week, I read a Medium article that mentioned that blogs were dead. Again.
Vince Gill, Eric Kaz, Craig Lee Fuller…
