Choosing the wrong tag cost my popularity

I was formatted well.
I had a great title and subtitle.
My photo was spot-on.
I had put hours into my content.
I didn't self-publish but went for maximum exposure on a large and popular publication. But, as I was preparing to hit the “submit” button, I accidentally pushed the wrong tag.
I hit “autobiography.” Oops.
After I hit “submit,” there were no views, no reads, and no fans for it.
A couple of my followers may have spit on the ground.
The lesson is that every detail is key, but the correct tag is brutally important.
It seems that, although readers do want to know that I actually did do whatever I did, and how it affected me, they are not that interested in my whole life story.
