Wimps on parade

It’s Thursday, the gateway to the weekend.
It’s so quiet here in the studio, you could hear a pen drop. Especially if it’s my Montblanc dropping onto my snooty Moleskine notebook. Just because I attended a snooty prep school and an Ivey League University, in no way implies, nor should any of you infer, I am spoiled and incapable of a good old-fashioned Viet Nam Style protest. I know my Dead tunes and my Country Joe and the Fish anthems!
We were protesting long before faces had to be covered, $35 pieces of plywood were needed, and our demands included world peace, free pizza, getting back on the dean’s list, not letting Daddy know we were involved, and maybe a six-pack of Coors before it became a national brand.
But now it’s all changed.
We have people who protest for us.
We leave that all to the professionals.
I have more writing to do now, so it’s back into the tub for me, Marat!
More after lunch. thanks to all who are here still.
No war songs today, just some disco. and now you will have it living rent-free in your head this afternoon…
I ran into some interesting writing prompts HERE.
