This is how my disease progressed.
I have tried to maintain one for my real estate business forever. Sporadically. Then I started my writing. I became convinced I needed one for that as well.
I tried them all.
I used Mail Chimp for a long time. And Mailer-Lite. Then Revue and Substack came along. I tried them all. Revue crashed pretty quickly. I had visions of making some money, too.
I had soon had several websites and about 4 Substacks. Substacks didn’t offer some tag features I wanted for a mailing list, so I added a Convert Kit. I try to write every day, so I can start on one platform and then share the story with another, but as slow as I have become at typing, I run out of day almost every day.
The decision.
So I have made the decision to concentrate my stories on Medium at one of my own publications, and feed the others from that one. Medium does not have a great newsletter feature, but I am finding some hacks to help it. And I will always keep a master Convert Kit list in addition.
I am giving a huge sigh of relief just thinking how much easier this will be.
Readers don’t even have to subscribe, just follow my pub, and make sure your email notifications are turned on. They won’t receive each story in their inbox, just the newsletter.
Even if you are not a the subscriber type,
So if you are not a the subscriber type, just come on over to my pub and follow it. Make sure your Medium settings say email notifications OK.
I feel better already.
