Daily habits that can give your life more life.

Time of day.
It is good to coincide your thankfulness with something you do every day for the habitability of it. Like getting out of bed, or going to bed, it would be like saying your prayers. Pick a time of day that works with you and not against you.
Volume level.
Saying grace at a meal can involve your whole family, or it may be something you do silently, to yourself. Even if that is the case, be sure to take a real pause before you start to eat. You don’t need to make a big deal of it, but do make it separated and real to your own perception.
Do not let it consist of something you can just pretend that you did or something you quickly muttered in the car on the way to lunch.
Who gets thanked?
This can go from actually praying to God, if that is where you are, to simply thanking the universe. The recipient of your thanks is a different journey that you may or may not be on at a different level.
Author, James Clear recommends “habit stacking” and taking turns with your other family members saying before dinner why each one is thankful.
The purpose is to find a way to start the habit of being thankful and expressing your thankfulness.
So pick a variable that works for you in the beginning, and cultivate the habit. It will begin bringing you some additional peace, and perhaps you will find you may end up with even more to be thankful about.
Try it for thirty days. Make an experiment of it. I know you can’t measure your perception, but see how it feels. Please let me know how you are doing.
Thank you for your time.
