They can’t just be thrown away
Interestingly enough, there is a law in my town against disposing of a recycle container without recycling it.
For almost a year now, my new next-door neighbors have had difficulty determining the exact day to get their recycling can to the street to be emptied.
Our houses each have a roll-out garbage can and a different color recycle can. Evidently, either my neighbors or someone else in the area has cried out to Metro Services for some type of help.
So over the last two weeks, Metro Services has dropped off new recycle cans next door and now there are four.
The Services aren’t allowed to pick them up, nor will the weekly garbage men, even though they are blowing around and wedging against other houses and cars.
