I used to work a full time job.
Ten years ago, I wrote a book about it, and some people liked it. So I wrote another one. And I kept writing, part-time, on the side, in the evenings or at lunchtimes. Two years ago, I spread out and began writing for additional platforms. Wow!
I kept doing it, not because of the money, but because I liked the way it made me feel. I imagined myself being a big-time writer.
When I was in high school, I was in a rock and roll band, simply because I loved the feeling of playing onstage. I wasn’t making that much money at it, but I imagined myself to be one of the Beatles. It felt wonderful!
There are different motivations for everyone, but, other than money, I imagine the number one motivation is self-image.
After a couple of years doing and researching the best ways to make money writing online, I do write online for money. I’ve written over a thousand essays and thirty books. I do still work on getting better, but I do still work part-time.
I am beginning to share in a Substack, newsletter tips and hacks on making money by writing online, starting part-time, and I think it will become an asset to many writers who are starting part-time the same as I did.
I will not write about any stupid theories regarding making unbelievable amounts of money and using unrealistic methods of production, but rather down-to-earth methods I have seen and used.
So join us today. Look at it, and see if you feel it could benefit you.
Thanks!
