Four Wins Writing a Short Piece Every Day for 30 Days Gave Me
As a newer writer.
ONE. It got the ball rolling on my personal level.
TWO. It brought me 17 new followers.
THREE. It made me 22 cents. That made me a professional writer. My mom was proud.
Definition of a short piece.
A short piece is whatever gets the job done. Don’t worry about being a “short story” or a “short form story,” defined as 150 words. Short is OK. Counting words gets tiresome.
They are the haiku of prose. If you’re a poet, that room is down the hall.
FOUR. Last, but not least, it made three reader/commenters call me an a**hat AT THE SAME TIME, and to my knowledge that had not ever happened before.
