Fifteen Feet
Today I walked fifteen feet.
Not a marathon. Not a mile.
Just fifteen feet—with my walker.
But it felt like winning something. Like I got a small piece of life back.
After months of hospital stays, weakness, and rehab, these quiet victories matter. They don’t make headlines. But they remind me I’m still moving forward.
Fifteen feet today.
Maybe twenty tomorrow.
Maybe more stories to tell.
For anyone else trying to come back from something:
Keep going. Even fifteen feet counts.
