Pressure cooker environment.

Like other governmental and quasi-governmental organizations throughout history, the CDC stands poised to make lightning-fast decisions that affect our lives and safety.
And like all agencies, they have to run on a lean, mean, skeleton crew, but still make complete and thoroughly-informed studies before they can render their decisions.
So the question I have, is whether they have on-site facilities for any of their people who may be under the weather, or do they have some backup personnel somewhere so they will never be caught with their governmental pants down.
This type of pressure-cooker environment has to be conducive to occasional bouts of vapors and general malaise. They must be prepared for these eventualities.
