Good morning from Nashville!
it5s kind of cloudy today and looks like rain, but its back warm again. it got down to 50 degrees at the beginning of the week. wow. tomatoes wont even set fruit at 50 or below. time to think of covering them ap on frosty nights so the reamining stragglers will try to gert red. Southern cuisine.
young peeps are not quite so much like this, but the regular folk define out meal as “meat and three.” which also helps me define my daily writing adventure.
my daily will consist of the following: The Meat is my money story published in Medium. I will connect to it with a friend link that will allow you to read the story in Medium for free.
the three consist of these: 1. Twitter (or whatever it’s called now) where there will be part of the story and a friend link to encourage a free visit to my story on medium. 2. LinkedIn, where I will also post a free link to encourage peeps to visit my story on Medium. and then 3. it will be posted on the rough crowd substack news if it is about writing or content creation, also to encourage folk to have a free visit to the whole story on medium for free
as you may have guessed by now, the more reads my stories get the more pennies i make even if they are free looks, and if readers spend more than 30 seconds on a story, that helps me even more.
There, then is the meat and three of my daily cuisine writing except for the ubiquitous and ever-delightful sweet tea that is the sine qua non of southern cooking.

Three times a day is out of the question, I’m afraid, sorry.
Right now we are set up to drop you a short note every weekday, with possibly one on the weekend or not.
The question is, is that enough?
I am not charging for this newsletter, of course, so my number of reads on Medium is THE way this thing pays for itself.
Almost lunchtime
I know, it’s not meat and three, but there is a reason for that. As some of you know I’ve had some medical problems and don’t get around as I should. today my sweet PJ is getting together with her sisters, and worrying about me as she always does, she fixes me a cache of edibles to get me through the day.
I spend the day grazing and typing.
In spite of my recent medical problems, I feel good. actually, I feel great. I am so thankful for everything around me, I start the day with a prayer of thanksgiving.
