City Council Holds New Domed Stadium Hostage
Bold move
In a bold move today, the city council refused to agree to the construction of a new domed stadium unless certain conditions were met.
Current residents of Brookmeade Homeless Park will be allowed to live on the field during non-game hours.
Restricted shopping cart parking areas will be designated and lined off as such, in close proximity to entrances on south side facing away from JJC.
Logistics of the actual move will be facilitated by the residents of Brookmeade Subdivision.
In a related story, citizens of Antioch voiced a desire to move the entire Global Mall down to the new stadium, so the area could be developed into apartments.
