Can a Sensitive Guy Become a Good Writer? Updated.
I was wrong. It may just be possible.
Yes, I may have been slightly incorrect in my previous story.
If you may recall I was excoriated endlessly for this prior story. It was embarrassing.
My words regarding writers still echoโฆ
You must be a substantial person to withstand the long hours and poor remuneration involved. Further, there is frequent public and familial derision regarding the inability to secure gainful employment.
In short, writing is not for crybabies. Itโs a place for pioneers, cowboys, hunters, fighters, and superheroes, not sensitive hallmark movie weepers.
If Dirty Harry and Fistful of Dollars give you the cinema sniffles, the post office is still hiring. The writing involved is more limited, you donโt really worry about how the story turns out, and you donโt have to go home at night and watch your stats page.
As it turns out, a lady in Ohio has started a group facility for writers, or recovering writers to help them better able to withstand the crushing pressures of the creative life.
No longer will they feel compelled to show their โsofterโ side. No longer will they wait hours and days on end for an electronic rejection slip.
No more worries about being misunderstood and banished from public places.
The program is complete in four weeks.
Wk 1) Getting in touch with the adult in you.
Wk 2) How to stop wailing and gnashing your teeth.
Wk 3) Is anything I ever wrote really worth all this?
Wk 4) There are always low-content Kindles or print-on-demand coloring books.

We have learned that a particular publication likes for us to update earlier articles we have written previously. Fun. Hereโs one for us to get practicing on.
I think itโs a good idea because stories are almost always evolving. Having this germ of knowledge leads me to the next question of whether to write the new story and simply link back to the older one, or republish chunks of the old one within the new one.
Life is a learning curve.
