BANNED by a Medium Reader for Something I Said
The old “Medium Order of Protection” for my response to his response.

A reader yesterday made a couple of comments on a story I wrote, and we replied back and forth a couple of times. Then the reader complained about some phrases/items that were not in my story.
I suggested that their agenda seemed different than just discussing the story, and that is the reason I don’t venture into political commentary.
I had no idea that I had angered anyone at all, but it seems I did. I was banned from replying to, or even reading the works of that reader. In BIG LETTERS.
In case you think that’s a good alternative to simply not clapping, I had to nose around a bit to see how it was even done.
Got to the icon of the person for whom you want to anti-clap.
Go to their profile.
Click the ellipses in the upper right corner.
Voila! You now have the choice of whether you wish to Mute, Block, or Report that author. I am not sure if more than one can be selected, because I didn’t try it. In fact, I can’t imagine why I would ever want to try it.
But there you are.
I used to make lame jokes about how inoffensive I try to be… no vulgarities, no politics, etc, but it appears I have jumped to a new category with my bullying and disagreement. I don’t blame any of you as readers if you seek out a way to unfollow my writing. I deserve it.
Thanks for reading!
