Some call me a parking space cowboy. Some call me the gangsta of words… But this is real life, and I’m a real-life writer. Like a turtle, I carry my office with me wherever I go. Nomad lifestyle. Also like a turtle, you won’t usually find me on a fence post, but rather, as shown here, out by Old Hickory Lake, comfortably chatting with Raymond and the Raincrow, my latest short story.
I don’t pitch tents. I don’t camp on sidewalks. In fact, I’m quite conservative. I have a touch of MS and although I have a walker and a wheelchair, I find the dimensions of my office to be wonderful for old-fashioned wall-walking, a concept or practice with which
I keep my balance by touching the walls or furniture as I walk along. it’s not exactly like a walker that can support weight to help your legs as well as your balance.
So I just bounce around sort of like a pinball to get from point A to point B, but at least it works.
