At the end of the month
I am actually not a conspiracy theorist.
No one-armed man, alien probings, or grassy knolls.
I don't see an algorithm behind every tree.
But in my month-end assessment, I have been reading several stories by the Medium Elite, not pie-eyed wack-os. Many of these articles speak of the percentages of followers who actually get exposed to a story someone writes.
In several instances, it comes out to less than a half percent. That's less than I thought.
Taking my thousand followers and my 140 stories in four months, I'm surprised I can pay the parking meter.
So it's clear my job is to continue the writing level or higher, promote more, be happy, get SUBSCRIPTIONS and get referrals (oh, and curated.)
Or forget it and pump gas.
