Actual Reason number one it’s good to work at home.
No more long commutes.
Long drives use gas. Gas is not cheap. Long drives make us use our fingers in ways that are unnatural.
Actual reason number two.
You may feel less pressure concerning your appearance.
We can wear sweatpants. Or no pants. We can generally defer personal maintenance because Rover ain't gonna tell us we stink. Might not smell bad to Rover.
Actual reason number three.
Working from home can provide more privacy and extra resources.
Same as “no pants” above. By “resources” we mean the couch, the bed, and the pizza delivery peeps.
Unicorn ranch reason number one we say we work from home.
You can attend to your physical health privately.
Let’s say you are just getting over last week’s peanut butter salmonella. You know what I mean. Not for office areas.
Some offices also don’t allow surfing WebMD.
Unicorn ranch reason number two we say we work from home.
You can include chores in your everyday (business) life.
This is very true. You cannot fold the laundry at work, unless you bring it with you. It’s tough to cut the grass or wash the car while you are at work.
Unicorn ranch reason number three we say we work from home.
You can prioritize your mental health in truly supportive ways.
Don’t let your office buds ask you if you’re crazy. Show them.
You decide about this one.
You can unlock your creativity in different ways — and include rest.
We can take naps and play games. We can make up even more Unicorn Ranch reasons we work from home.

Too much hatin’ going on where you have to work! Home is much more peaceful.
